Native Education Program Parent Advisory Committee Present!
The 2024 American Indian Alaska Native Celebration
November 2nd, 2024 4:30-8pm
Featuring:
Nataanii Means guest speaker/performer. Nataanii will share in his experience as a song writer and performing artist, and activist. What it all means to him as a Native artist and will perform his music live! (Photo opportunity and poster signing will take place at the end of the show.)
Fabian Quenelle will be our host/emcee for the evening keeping the run of show and sharing culture and fun.
Tiffany Stuart will lead a writing workshop for students from 3:30pm to 4:30pm and give her presentation on effective writing techniques for young people. She will also be signing and giving away her book.
Tamale Boy will be serving up their specialty tamale course, your registration will be your meal ticket, these will be given at the door when you arrive. (We ask that elders and veterans get food first.)
There will be an invocation and opening drum, followed by SKPS student dancers then dinner, a short break to check out the vendors before the main performance, poster signing/photo op.
We are excited for this year's AIAN Celebration. We look forward to seeing you and your families there!
